Active in his profession, Whittenburg is a member of the North
Texas Commercial Association of Realtors (NTCAR), the Texas Association
of Realtors (TAR), and the National Association of Realtors (NAR).
He is a graduate & board member of Leadership Amarillo &
Canyon. He is also a board member of Amarillo Center City, the Polk
St. Bock Party Committee, the March of Dimes Revenue Committee,
and the City of Amarillo's 25 Year Steering Committee. He is also
active in many other organizations such as Children’s Miracle
Network, Race for the Cure, and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Whittenburg attended St. Stephen's Episcopal School in Austin,
Rhodes College & University of Colorado at Boulder, where he
majored in Political Science. He is married with one child.
